Best Day Ever We had an amazing time. I was hesitant to book with someone on the beach and now I’m so happy I did. We did a private tour for less money than booking through the hotel and we saw so saw and did more things. It was nice that we were on our own schedule doing all the things we wanted. Visiting the rainforest was my favorite part. We saw so many animals/reptiles and plants/trees. Also no one was around but us and our guide. In addition went to a crater in the volcano. We did a mud bath and hot springs there. That was an amazing experience and my skin is baby smooth. We ate an authentic Costa Rican lunch while looking at a Volcano. The grounds around the restaurant were very clean and they had a lot of gardens and things to see there as well. We went on a short hike there and saw a toucan. The guide also got us some fresh aloe for our sunburnt skin. Then we went to a waterfall and Howler monkeys were in a tree at the bottom. It was an amazing experience. I would do it all again. In fact, I would say it was one of the top 5 days of my life. I highly recommend Alexonthebeach. Fabio was our guide and he was great. He even rescued a baby sloth that fell out of a tree. The best experience! If I could give Alex on the Beach more than 5 stars, I would. We stayed at the Riu and I found reviews from other guests about their experience booking activities with Alex on the Beach. I worked with Daniel via WhatsApp prior to our trip who built out the perfect itinerary for us. We have 2 kids (ages 12 and 9) and Daniel gave lots of great suggestions on what we should do. Our guides and private transportation were also top notch. We ended up booking 3 days of activities, a personalized snorkeling boat ride, an all day adventure with horseback riding, hiking, cacao/coffee tour, and much more, and white water rafting. We saw so many animals too (monkeys, sloths, frogs, and birds). We had an absolute blast and felt that there was so much value in what we paid. Excellent experience!! We experienced for the Wildlife Safari Tour with Alex On The Beach Tours in late November and it was amazing! Our guide was Daniel and our driver was Marcos. They both had excellent knowledge of the nature, animals and birds we were seeing! We took a boat tour on the Bebedero River, and saw plenty of crocodiles, monkeys and birds. Then a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch at Soda Doña Carmen, which also had a butterfly garden for us to explore. Next was Bijagua rainforest where we saw sloths, frogs, snakes and many birds. Finally, we visited the beautiful Llanoz del Cortez waterfall. It was a day very well spent with excellent guides and we highly recommend it!

A wonderful ride We went on two atv trips. Wanted to see different areas of Costa Rica. Both were beautiful seen different beaches ,hill sides ,farms ,towns . First trip was my husband n I . Fishing n dinner Half day fishing was wonderful. Danial was so helpful trying for the best weather possible to go. The crew was trying there best to help to catch the roster fish my husband wanted. We didn’t have luck but he did get two Jack Trevally and a Big eye Jack. He said they were fun to catch. After Danial took us back to the Monkey Bar where his brother Seigio owns and we had a delicious dinner with the Big Eye Jack. Everyone there is always smiling and happy to visit. 5 in 1 Tour with Tour Guide Javier Traveled with my cousin and sister to Costa Rica. We were looking for any easy relaxing tour to go on. The Alex on the Beach tours hut is located on the beach right outside of the Planet Hollywood Resort. Erlan gave us the pamphlet and we went back the next day to book our tour during which Carlos helped us. Carlos was so kind and answered all of our questions about the day trip and out us at ease for what to expect. We booked the 5 in one tour which included a trip to a waterfall, visit to a secondary crater with hot spring and mud pit, a traditional Costa Rican lunch, and a gentle walk through rain forest. We booked a private tour and Javier was our tour guide. The price was good for a private tour in a new 12 person van for 3. Javier was so kind, and informative. During the ride to the sites, he shared a lot of history and knowledge he had of Costa Rica which was very interesting. He was a very safe driver as well. He was so nice and even took pics and vids for us as well. Would highly recommend people to ask for Javier as their tour guide if possible. During the Rain forest part of the tour there was another guide, I believe from Miravalles tours, David, who was very informative as well. This tour was awesome, and we were lucky because we saw a sloth on the tour so low to the group. David said that seeing a sloth that low was like winning the lottery. Ab Fab We ( with our two teenage granddaughters ) had a 4 hour boat tour with Berny as our guide and two other crew. IT WAS FABULOUS. We busied a very cool cave, went smelling twice ( sea turtles, puffed fish and Sargent fish mostly ) and the fishing. One granddaughter had never been fishing and catching two was the highlight of the trip. Then they prepare. Ceviche for us. Also reasonably priced. Not cheap but very reasonable.
