We did... read more 3 different tours with him during our week vacation, all which were amazing. Alex would customize our tours for us and spent the entire day taking us around to various activities. We did a jungle/rain forest tour, took us to a beautiful waterfall hike and to see the sloth sanctuary. Another day we did a wild life tour and took us to see monkeys and alagators, then to do rapid floating and then to a hot spring with a mud bath and sauna. And we did an adventure tour with zip lining, rapeling and horse back riding.

Alex is a wonderful tour guide, he is very knowledgeable about the wild life, nature, culture and history of Costa Rica. He treated us like family while we were with him and would pack us waters/beers, bring us local snacks for our ride. Took the best photos for us! He would pick us up from our hotel and spent the whole day taking us to various activities for an extremely reasonable price. We left Costa Rica having the best time because of Alex. Do yourself a favor and book a tour with Alex, you won’t regret it!

He was friendly, welcoming,... read more funny and inviting to his culture that I could not have had any other opportunity to experience. He was not only knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the river cruise, but made stops to and from pointing out native things that people have used or been accustomed to ready to go. Like natural plant remedies, where to find animals in their native habitat without disturbing them. Knew of local restaurants for native dishes. He even waited for us without a time limit or complaint for souvenirs and taking part on local customs like processing sugar canes.
